Villarreal CF, a top team in Spain’s LaLiga, has announced a partnership with Bolaños Soccer Academy, now named Villarreal NY Bolaños Academy. Based in Queens, New York, a state well-known for being strong in soccer, players and coaches at ‘NY Bolaños’ will train under the innovative Villarreal CF methodology to help them to develop to their full potential. Villarreal will work with NY Bolaños staff members to grow players through an individual player development approach. What’s more, this revolutionary partnership provides a pathway to real professional experiences in Spain. Villarreal NY Bolaños Academy play and train at great facilities, in the heart of Queens, at Flushing Meadows Park.

Villarreal's mission is to provide an opportunity for youth to develop and grow in our community through participation in athletic competition. Our goal is to welcome all boys and girls and teach them to, enjoy, be safe, and learn the competitive environment which will assist in the social and physical development for children of all skill levels. Our goal is to create complete soccer players with love for the game and a greater chance for future success.
Villarreal NY Bolaños Vision
Our Vision is to provide a positive, competitive youth soccer experience for players, parents and coaches. We emphasize long-term player development of physical, emotional and social skills. We believe a positive team sport experience will promote a youth's self-confidence and self-esteem beyond the soccer field. We emphasize individual skill development, teamwork, game concepts and sportsmanship. We try to provide a healthy perspective on both winning and losing. We believe players, parents and coaches will learn more from a competitive 4–3 loss than a non-competitive 6–0 win. Success is defined by improvement, effort, competitive spirit and team play.
